What is your return policy? We want you to have a
pleasant shopping experience and will give a full refund
within 30 days if you are not satisfied. The following
is required: 1) Requests for product returns must be
authorized in writing and receive approval from Redland
Healing Arts before replacement merchandise or credit
will be issued. 2)To receive full credit, all returns
must be in a saleable condition and accompanied with a
copy of the invoice. 3) Personal care products (essential
oils, carrier oils, massage oils, etc) cannot be
returned once they have been opened.
Do you use cookies? Yes, our website uses
cookies, which are software files that allow a website
to identify a specific computer used to log in. Personal
data is not stored in cookies. You have the option
of rejecting cookies through your own browser.
What are your shipping methods? UPS Ground
based on weight and destination. The shopping cart
is set up to give you an estimate of S&H charges when
you checkout.

What is your Order and
Delivery Policy?
All orders are processed within 24 hours and shipped
immediately if the item is in stock. If not in stock or
item is custom made (furniture or jewelry) then there is a 10-20 day processing
time depending on the item. We do our best
to process and ship your order promptly. At any time you
can check the status of your order through the website.
Why do I have to wait so long for my essential oils?
We do not stock all essential oils due to their shelf
life. We prefer to provide a product that is
recent and close to the source. Quality being more
important than time. Please be patient when
ordering essential oils - it is worth the wait.
What is the shelf life of an Essential Oil? The
shelf life of an essential oil in the citrus family is
about 6 months and most other oils one year. This is the
rule of thumb if they are being used for therapeutic
purposes. This does not mean you should throw them away
– far from it. They have so many other uses.
What do I do with oils that are past their shelf life?
They should not be used for therapeutic massage
blends or skin care blends but there are many other
everyday uses.
In the kitchen I always have a bottle of some essential
oil at the sink (currently it’s Lemon). Using a bowl
(or a bucket for big jobs) fill with water and add
4-5 drops of essential oil (of course for a big bucket
20 drops is all you need for the floor). Swish around to
disburse the oil and water. With a clean rag or paper
towel, dip in the bowl and then wipe down counter tops,
refrigerator door handles, water cooler, coffee maker,
cabinets and anything that needs cleaning. The cleaning
power is amazing and I can be sure there are no toxic fumes,
no chemical residue around food and prep surfaces.
The
appliance or counter comes out sparkling with a
clean fresh scent.
There are other uses for “older” oils besides
cleaning - you could fragrance your candles, linens, or
make room sprays. Just remember the therapeutic
affects on a cellular level have diminished greatly, but
if you enjoy the smell of a particular oil go ahead and
enjoy it. It’s one of the reasons people are drawn to
aromatherapy – because it makes them feel good.
